
Bora Colak, MD, MPH
Dr. Bora Colak is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist working in private practice, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients across the lifespan. His clinical work integrates evidence-based psychiatric treatment with a thoughtful, individualized approach to care.

Dr. Colak attended Harvard University and earned his MD and MPH from St. George’s University. He completed his general psychiatry residency at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College, followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Northwell Health’s Zucker School of Medicine. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings treating children, adolescents, and adults with complex psychiatric needs.

Previously, Dr. Colak has held clinical roles at South Beach Psychiatric Center and South Oaks Hospital, where he worked with patients ranging from youth in acute crisis to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Colak is involved in psychiatric education and research and has written and presented on topics including youth mental health, social media, mindfulness, and emerging treatment approaches.
